Art Student Freaks Out & Destroys Her Painting After a Critique

I laughed at everyone involved in this video.

omg the critiques weren’t even that bad

honestly if you’re going to be a creator of any kind, you need to develop some hide, cuz you’re not going to survive if you can’t even handle constructive criticism

these were totally valid critiques though omg

I saw some bad reactions to crits in the 4 years at art school but I don’t think I ever actually saw someone destroy their work in front of me. Now I feel like I missed out :c

….youre…youre kidding right? that wasnt even a bad critique! ROFL that was a really good crit actually! critiques are creative criticism to improve your art work not just a “A for effort” youre never going to get any better unless you know what you are doing wrong or ask others how they perceive your work LOL

you just did an amazing job making yourself look like a spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum… unless this was a performance piece 

I’m sorry but can ya’ll kindly just STOP.

Being in art school is very stressful.  ONtop of that, when you are trying to get your BA in a certain field and they stick you in a required course that you have NO SKILLS IN PRIOR TO THEN.  Add to that the well known fact, that MANY art students tend to be pretentious dimwits, and literally think they are all the shit.

Take into account her body language and the tone of many people in the background it feels like to me, it wasn’t even about the critique but that there are UNDERLYING ISSUES this girl is going through, one i get the strong feeling is that she may be being bullied/outcasted by others in the class.

This is very common in art environments and i dare any one who is an art student to come forward to deny this is not true, cliques are very common as well as the black sheep of the class stereotype.

THe major reason why i feel this may have been about bullying was the main girls “critique” where she isn’t necessarily critiquing her but making snide remarks ABOUT THE ARTIST HERSELF….

IDK i just think every one is looking into this too much on the surface of things and it makes me sick how ya’ll wanna just laugh at her when you have no clue the true story behind this is, especially when it CLEARLY IS  ABOUT MORE THAN A STUPID CRITIQUE.
